Our Fleet

The right vehicle for the job, every single time

A delivery is only as reliable as the vehicle carrying it. A sealed envelope of legal documents and a skid of retail stock are two completely different problems, and sending the wrong equipment to a pickup costs everybody time, a van that turns out to be too small, a truck that cannot clear a parking garage, a load that has to be hand-bombed off a deck because there is no liftgate. At VG Well-Being Transport we build our fleet specifically so that does not happen.

Our vehicles are organized by capability rather than by badge. Full-size cargo vans handle the everyday work of commercial delivery and specialized courier runs, parcels, documents, medical shipments, interoffice mail and small palletized goods that need to move quickly through city traffic and into tight downtown loading zones. Diesel box trucks take on the heavier end: full skids, furniture, fixtures, event and trade-show equipment, and bulk store replenishment where volume and a powered liftgate matter more than nimbleness.

Every unit in the fleet is commercially registered and insured, inspected on a preventive maintenance schedule rather than a reactive one, and kept clean inside and out. Cargo areas are dry, secured and free of debris, because a load that shifts or sits in dirt is a claim waiting to happen. Our drivers are trained on load securement, safe lifting, liftgate operation and the documentation that goes with a chain-of-custody delivery, and each vehicle carries the straps, blankets, dollies and hand trucks needed to handle freight properly instead of improvising at the dock.

Every vehicle is also GPS-connected through the DMA platform, so you can watch your delivery move in real time and receive time-stamped, geolocated proof of delivery the moment it is handed over. We serve Montreal Island, Laval, the North Shore and the South Shore, with province-wide coverage across Québec available for longer assignments.

Isuzu N-Series diesel box truck

Our newest box truck is built for the loads a van simply cannot take. The cab-over design gives it a tight turning circle for a vehicle of its size, which matters enormously on narrow Montreal streets, in older industrial parks and around loading docks that were never designed for modern freight equipment.

The full-height dry-freight body keeps cargo sealed away from weather and road grime, and the wide roll-up rear door means the truck can back tight to a dock without needing swing-out clearance behind it. A rail-type hydraulic liftgate handles skids, appliances, fixtures and heavy cases at ground level, so deliveries to sites without a dock are just as straightforward as deliveries to sites that have one.

Vehicle 02, Everyday delivery

Ford E-150 full-size cargo van

The E-150 is the workhorse of same-day and scheduled delivery. It carries a genuinely useful volume of freight while still fitting comfortably in a standard parking space, clearing most underground garages, and moving through downtown traffic without the access headaches a larger truck brings.

The fully enclosed steel body keeps everything out of sight and out of the weather, which is exactly what confidential documents, medical shipments and high-value parcels require. Rear doors swing wide for loading, and a side door gives quick access to the front of the cargo bay, so a driver making twenty stops is not unloading the whole van at each one.

How we keep our vehicles road-ready

01

Preventive maintenance

Servicing is scheduled by kilometres and hours, not by breakdowns, so units come off the road on our terms, never mid-route on yours.

02

Daily circle checks

Drivers inspect brakes, tires, lights, load securement and liftgate function before every shift and log the result.

03

Clean, dry cargo areas

Cargo bays are swept and kept dry between loads, with blankets, straps and dollies on board to protect what we carry.

04

Licensed & insured

Every vehicle is commercially registered and insured, and every driver is trained, screened and covered on our policy.

FAQ

Questions about our fleet

As a rule of thumb: if your shipment is made up of parcels, documents or a few boxes that two people could carry, a cargo van is the right call. If you are moving skids, furniture, fixtures or anything that needs mechanical lifting, book the box truck with the liftgate. If you are unsure, tell us the dimensions, weight and site access and we will assign the correct vehicle for you.

Yes. Our box truck is fitted with a rail-type hydraulic liftgate, which effectively turns any kerbside into a loading dock. That means we can deliver heavy or palletized freight to sites with no dock and no forklift, safely and without extra handling charges for improvised unloading.

Our box truck stands 12 ft 6 in (3.81 m) tall, so it cannot enter most underground or indoor parking structures, those are usually limited to about 6 ft 6 in. For deliveries inside a garage or a low-clearance dock, book the cargo van instead. Let us know your clearance height when you book and we will match the vehicle accordingly.

Every vehicle in the fleet is GPS-connected through the DMA platform. You can watch your delivery move in real time and you receive electronic proof of delivery, recipient signature or photo, GPS location and a time and date stamp, the moment the shipment is handed over.

Yes. Every unit is commercially registered and insured, and our drivers are trained, screened and covered under our policy. If your shipment requires a specific coverage level or a certificate of insurance for your own records, contact us before booking and we will arrange it.

We cover Greater Montreal, including Montreal Island, Laval, the North Shore and the South Shore, with province-wide coverage across Québec available for longer or special assignments. Get in touch to confirm coverage for your specific route.
