Overview

Commercial transportation services for shipments of every size

Not every shipment fits in an envelope. When your business needs to move parcels, equipment or light freight reliably across Greater Montreal, VG Well-Being Transport gives you a single dependable partner for all of it, from a small package to a pallet of IT hardware.

Booking is self serve in the DMA app. Enter your pickup and drop off, choose your load type, and the request is matched to the right vehicle and dispatched to the nearest available driver. Pricing is based on distance and load, calculated and confirmed before you book, so budgeting stays straightforward and predictable.

Throughout transit you stay informed with real time GPS tracking and status notifications, and every job closes out with electronic proof of delivery. For businesses that ship regularly, we also arrange dedicated routes and recurring contracts so your commercial logistics run on a reliable, repeatable schedule.

Scope

The question most businesses actually have

The practical question is rarely which service tier applies. It is whether we can handle what is actually sitting on your dock. The answer is usually yes, and where it is not we say so before you book rather than after a driver arrives and turns it away.

We move small packages and large parcels, light freight, business and workshop equipment, IT hardware, office supplies, industrial parts and components, light construction materials, and general retail and wholesale merchandise. Vehicles are matched to the load, so you are not paying for capacity you do not need or watching a driver refuse a pallet that will not fit.

If you are unsure whether an item is within scope, send us the dimensions, the weight and a photograph. Confirming it takes a few minutes and costs nothing, which compares favourably with a failed collection.

Handling

Loaded, secured and delivered in the condition it left

Damage in transit is almost always a loading problem rather than a driving problem. Our drivers load and secure goods themselves rather than leaving it to your staff, and the securing method is chosen for what is actually being carried, because equipment, electronics and construction materials all behave differently in a moving vehicle.

IT hardware gets particular attention. Servers, workstations and network equipment are fragile in ways that are not visible, and a drive that arrives working but was handled carelessly becomes a problem several weeks later when nobody connects it to the move.

Where an item is unusually shaped, unusually fragile or needs to arrive in a specific orientation, tell us at booking. Planning for it costs nothing. Discovering it at the loading bay costs a rescheduled collection and a wasted morning.

Recurring routes

Commercial logistics your team can plan around

Most of the transport work we do for businesses is not one urgent job. It is the same run, repeated. A weekly replenishment to four branches. A daily parts transfer between two sites. A Monday morning stock movement that has to be finished before the shop opens.

Setting these up as a recurring route rather than booking each one gives you the same driver, a fixed slot in the schedule, and a rate structure built around the pattern rather than the individual job. It also means your team stops spending part of every week arranging transport that was entirely predictable in advance.

Recurring routes can run daily, weekly, monthly or seasonally, and can be adjusted as your volumes change. Organisations running several kinds of movement usually consolidate them under corporate transportation solutions, which puts delivery, courier and freight work under a single agreement.

Send us what a typical month looks like and we will come back with a schedule and a figure.

Coverage and booking

Where we run and how to arrange it

We cover Greater Montreal, including Montreal Island, Laval, the North Shore and the South Shore, with province wide coverage available for special assignments. If your route sits outside the usual pattern, ask. We would rather quote it properly than turn it away on a technicality.

Bookings are made through the DMA app, where you enter pickup and drop off, select the load type and follow the job through to delivery. For recurring work, a service agreement replaces the individual bookings and holds your slot in the schedule.

Billing follows the shape of the work: per job for occasional transport, or a structured agreement for recurring routes. Tell us what you move and how often and we will price against that rather than a generic rate card.

Getting started

How a first job usually goes

Most businesses start with one movement they are tired of arranging themselves. A pallet that needs to reach a branch. An equipment transfer between two sites. A delivery a general courier has already declined once.

Send us the load: dimensions, weight, pickup, destination and when it needs to be there. We confirm whether it is within scope and quote it. If it works, most clients move a second job across within the month, and a recurring route usually follows once the pattern becomes obvious to both sides.

There is no account setup requirement to try us and no minimum volume. A single parcel and a standing weekly circuit are both real work.

Why businesses switch

What matters once the novelty wears off

01

Right sized vehicles

The vehicle is chosen for the load, so you are not paying for empty space or watching a driver refuse a pallet.

02

Predictable pricing

Distance and load based, calculated and confirmed before you book, with no renegotiation once the vehicle is loaded.

03

End to end tracking

Live GPS and status notifications throughout, closing with electronic proof of delivery on every job.

04

Recurring routes

Dedicated schedules with a consistent driver, so predictable movements stop consuming your team's week.

FAQ

Commercial transportation questions

Vehicles are matched to the load rather than the other way round, so the honest answer depends on the item. Send us the dimensions, the weight and a photograph and we will confirm within a few minutes whether it is within scope. That is considerably cheaper than a failed collection.

Yes. Our freight transportation services cover light freight alongside small and large parcels, equipment, IT hardware, industrial parts, office supplies, light construction materials and general merchandise. If it fits safely in a matched vehicle, we can usually move it.

Yes. Servers, workstations, monitors and network hardware are treated as high value fragile freight by default, with loading and securing handled by our driver. Where a device holds client data, the same discretion applies as to any confidential shipment.

Yes, and for most businesses it works out better than booking job by job. A recurring route gives you the same driver, a fixed slot in the schedule and a rate structure built around the pattern. Routes can run daily, weekly, monthly or seasonally and can be adjusted as volumes change.

Our driver does. Damage in transit is almost always a loading problem rather than a driving problem, so we take responsibility for loading and securing rather than leaving it to your staff. Tell us at booking if an item is unusually shaped, fragile or needs a specific orientation.

Light construction materials, hardware, fixings and finishing supplies, yes, timed so trades are not standing around waiting for a pallet that should have arrived at eight. Heavy structural material sits outside our scope and we will say so at quote.

Commercial delivery is built around speed tiers for parcels and documents. Commercial logistics work is built around the load: matching the right vehicle, loading it properly and securing it for the journey. If the item will not comfortably fit in a car, this is the service you want.

Greater Montreal, including Montreal Island, Laval, the North Shore and the South Shore, with province wide coverage available for special assignments. If your route sits outside the usual pattern, ask rather than assuming we cannot do it.

No. A single parcel and a standing weekly circuit are both real work. Most businesses start with one movement they are tired of arranging themselves, and a recurring route follows once the pattern becomes obvious.
